Basic NPC Collisions

This weekend, I worked on wiring up collision detection for NPCs, building off of last week’s work adding collision volumes. NPCs will now stop moving when they collide with another entity.

You’ll notice in the video that the scientist is colliding with the player. I’ve added an entity to represent the player’s current position as well as a collision volume. You’ll also notice that the NPC still plays its walking animation despite stopping. The next step is to link the NPC’s real speed with its animation, and to transition between animations gracefully.
